Profile
John is the director of Dairy Decisions, whilst working in partnership on the family 250 cow dairy farm in South Somerset.
With over 20 years farm management experience he has a focus on financial monitoring, efficient forage production and balanced nutrition.
With large herd management experience with high yielding herds, John is specialised in advising dairy farming businesses to improve farm profitability, animal health and welfare. He delivers 1-to-1 on-farm consultancy, facilitates discussion groups and delivers industry talks.
He is a trained FACTS advisor enabling him to create fertilizer plans and offer grassland management advice. He is skilled in grazing management, with a particular interest in improving milk from forage.
